Don Pino CC was founded with the purpose of introducing superior quality, organically cultivated wines and high class organic products to the South African market. As the global, climate change crisis continues to grow, individuals are called to unite their efforts and make themselves heard to those in National Governments including the United Nations in a global effort to achieve our objective of decreasing our carbon footprint on the ecosystems of the world - for our sake, for future generations as well as, the environment. For this reason, Don Pino distributes elegantly presented, vibrant, organic wines and distinguished organic products that are delightful on the palate and seductive on the nose while promoting physical health and well-being, in conjunction with a sagacious and responsible effort in support of The Green Initiative to heal our planet.
CERTIFICATIONS
The European market, as well as the South African Department of Agriculture, has certified Don Pino wines. The Villa Teresa range of organic wines is certified with regards to production, winemaking and preservation.
Don Pino Organic Wines supports the responsible drinking campaign and meticulously follow the regulations as stipulated by the Department of Forestry & Agriculture, as well as, the Department of Trade and Industry.
Our grape vines are cultivated in Veneto, Italy. The location of the farms just below the Alps ensures that the grapes are protected from pollution and allows for the irrigation of the land using Alpine water. A man named Pietro Tonon established Villa Teresa, the company that supplies cultivated organic wine to Don Pino, in 1936.
The Villa Teresa Merlot was light, elegant, tight fruit flavours, nice bouquet. A random choice that produced a pleasant surprise! Can't think of anything you couldn't drink this with.

Villa Teresa Organic Prosecco is easy-drinking and balanced. Organically-grown Prosecco grapes. Equivalent to a demi-sec on the Champagne sweetness scale, this wine exhibits subtle apple and a hint of lime. It is delicious.

Villa Teresa uses grapes grown from naturally cultivated vineyards, where the vine and its fruits are carefully matured without chemical agents such as synthetic fertilisers, weed killers, insecticides or genetically modified products.

Villa Teresa Reusable Sachet
Villa Teresa organic wines also come in 5 litre sachets (with a Hybar28 metallized three-layer laminated barrier) developed to provide a strong seal, overall package toughness as well as Oxygen protection. The sachets require little space and protect the contents from Oxygen and direct light. The wine is drawn and poured from a tap connected to the sachet, specially designed to minimise the ingress of Oxygen, as well as, any spilling. Due to the nature of the sachet, the wine will always be kept under pressure, ensuring that it remains free from Oxygen. The shape of the sachets allows them to fit easily into custom Don Pino dispensers. The sachets are also re-usable and can be used for water, other wines, fruit juices, tomato preserves etc.
